This is Orville.
My knight in shining armor.
He didn't exactly ride up on a white horse to rescue me from some imminent danger or woo said fair (as in pale) damsel, but he did open my eyes to the many wonderful things this world has to offer, which merits credit in and of itself.
This is Orville and me on our wedding day.
Since then we have embarked on many an adventure, traveling to distant lands and discovering extraordinary new chapters of life, giving us a taste of so many of the experiences that are both good and not as good in this world.
But the greatest of these chapters was opened by Joy.
With her came like a breath of fresh air a new commitment to finding all that is good and happy in life. Never is a moment wasted on the frivolities of sorrow and downtrodden thoughts of yesterday.
It is for her that I dedicate this corner of my life. A place where all things are happy.
So happy to welcome you to the blogosphere! You will have so much to tell us as Joy grows I'm sure! Looking forward to it!!!
